PSBA is a Welsh Government-funded managed service delivering secure (private) network connectivity between public sector organisations across Wales, as well as high-speed access to the Internet via the JANET network. The network and associated services is delivered through a systems integrator contract currently held by British Telecom (BT Business & Public Sector) with service delivery and contract management functions monitored by the Welsh Government PSBA Team. The service is used by virtually all aspects of the public-sector in Wales connecting over 4000 end sites across 100+ organisations including Health, Local Government, Education, Police, Fire & Rescue services as well as a large number of non-sector Welsh Government funded organisations.
