Notes
The CXC-IX Multi-Lateral Peering Exchange (MLPE) streamlines the process of establishing peering connections across open networks. By leveraging our MLPE route servers, participants can connect with multiple peers through just two BGP sessions — eliminating the need for individual peering arrangements.
This service enables networks to exchange routing information without requiring direct bilateral agreements with other members. MLPE is available across all CXC-IX locations.
Participants also benefit from advanced route control through BGP Communities, allowing them to manage how their prefixes are shared on a per-peer basis.

**Important Note:**
Although CXC-IX uses a unified ASN for MLPE, routes are not propagated between different metropolitan areas.
